I know this may be an odd idea for many, but Iactually believe there would be less drama and people would watch how they behave much better if all history public and private q ns are displayed, if nnot to all of us, only to the cls and the admins. I suggested other ideas for better security here, but since they were not considered, this may be the only thing left for me to say.
I for one, do not want some of my private quick notes displayed to the admin's, or to anyone else. There is a reason they are called private quick notes. We'd have to change the name to semi-private quick notes.
No one wants to read your or anyone elses' pqn's. If there is a specific issue that breaches the TOS, let us know and we'll go from there. This would probably start more drama, and we really don't have time to poor through pages upon pages of pqn's.

i agree. pqn's should always be pqn's if you dont want to talk to someone in private, there's always an ignore fiture that you can use. and really, seriously, not many people would like to read about some other people's life, or what sort of personal issue they have with another user.
as far as public quicknote goes, i'm not too sure if you realize, but premium members and definitely the staff can read. but that is different storry, it will be stupid to post any personal stuff over the public, considering it is a public space...

I totally agree with posts two and five.
I agree this would not necessarily stop the drama. And I'm sure CL's and admins do not have time to read through everyone's qn's. If you think someone is breaking the terms of service, send a PM to a CL telling the date and approximate time of the inappropriate conversation, and they can check qn history. But there is no need to have someone constantly monitoring qn's.
Yes, I agree with you all, it is not practical and I know it can not be done, but if someone is aware that the admins and cls here are at least thinking about better security, I think the site would be a bit more secure. It doesn't mean that no one should do anything about it just because it is a free site and no one has the time to monitor certain activities, but I hope someone can think of a better suggestion, if not the rest, those who experience bad encounters with certain people here.

Me neither, usually, only when it is necessary.
I like to be able to look back on my past pqn's so I would like to keep my ability to do so. And if you are worried about people going back and reading what you posted on the public quick notes then maybe you shouldn't have typed it in the first place. People can always copy your post as they are posted to pass along. Rule of thumb to remember, Don't wright anything that you would never want to be seen.
If you are premium, you can access PQN's involving yourself and someone else, so if there's a problem there, copy and paste the PQN in question, and send it to the CL's or admins. Of course, the standard members can't do that. I would suggest copying the QN to your clipboard right away before refreshing the page.
agree with Jess, if I have a problem i can just get the pqn's and send it to a cl, i dont need anyone reading my personal business
everyone should realize that this is a community, as much as anything else. if you and another user having trouble of whatever, it should be solve privately instead of involving the staff members in it. as the main page of zone website said, "we are not your parents". you know what the best for you what to take in order for you to protect yourself.
zone is as secure as all of the internet website. no one asking you for your personal detail, and no one expect you to give them your personal details or tell the whole world about your storry. if you choose to do so, thats the risk involve, and you are respondsible to explore yourself in to such risk.
if everyone have problem with another user and request the staff members to get involve in solving your problem, it is somewhat immature, and i don't think any of the staff member will have time for such dramas on zone.
still, back to the very best suggestion, ignore that person, either here, or on other private places that you guys talk. and let the time be the healer for you both.
mmmm, well, seeing as my pqn's are mostly cybering on here, ya know, I'm sure that the Cl's and admins would love to read them. I just know that they would be on the edge of their seats, just waiting for me to log in, start my daily cybering sessions via pqn, so they can get all ready and stuff. so, mmm, great idea! :)

honestly? just no. who in their great minds would wanna read through boring pqn's? i know if i were admin or cl, i wouldn't wanna, :) but then again, I'm kinda self centered and don't much care for what goes around here and who's up to what and why! :d

Private Quick Notes to me are to be just that - PRIVATE!!
Now, if a person is having a difficulity with another, then, I should think it proper if that someone chooses to turn to say a Community Leader or some such person who would have a permission to access that another's persons pvt.qn in order to help in the working through of some communication difficulity to provide for understanding. Once the matter is cleared up though then that say, Community Leader or person put in that place of being requested to go through a person's pvt.qn history, well, once the troubling situation settled then once again at point of PRIVACY, well, this I should be given to think.

I totally agree. If CL's or admins were able to see your PQN's, they would not be PQN's anymore. So this is rather stupid in my opinion. I don't think this would stop the drama anyway.
I forgot to add that the drama is mainly in public quicknotes. So I'd rather say that the admins (not the CL's, as they don't have much time) should watch the publick qn's a bit better instead of the pqn's being viewable for everyone in the history. Cheers

Any premium member can see public QN's. The admins could see all QN's, public and private, if they wish, but they have real lives off this site, and who would want to pour through all that anyway? Personally, even if CL's were given that power, I would not want it. I don't have the time, or the desire, to go plowing through others personal information. And, honestly, nothing is going to stop the drama around here. As we've told users repeatedly, we are not your parents.
